Itineraries

Day 1

Rishikesh → Karchi Homestay (Drive)

  • Altitude: 6,700 ft
  • Drive Distance: 250 km (approx. 8–9 hrs)
    Begin your journey from Rishikesh with a scenic
    drive along the Alaknanda River. Pass through
    Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Joshimath before
    reaching Karchi village. Check in at a cozy
    mountain homestay, enjoy a warm dinner, and
    rest for the night.
  • Overnight stay: Karchi Homestay

Day 2

Karchi Homestay → Akhorghetta (Trek)

  • Altitude: 8,500 ft
  • Trek Distance: 4–5 km | Duration: 3–4 hrs
  • After breakfast, start your first trek day through
    pine and oak forests. The trail gradually ascends,
    offering views of local settlements and distant
    snow peaks. Reach Akhorghetta campsite,
    surrounded by meadows and dense forests.
  • Overnight stay: Campsite at Akhorghetta

Day 3

Akhorghetta → Khullara (Trek)

  • Altitude: 11,000 ft
  • Trek Distance: 5–6 km | Duration: 4–5 hrs
  • Today’s trek takes you through thick forests of oaand rhododendron. As you approach Khullara, theview opens up to majestic peaks like Nanda Devi,
    Dronagiri, and Hathi-Ghoda Parvat.
  • Overnight stay: Campsite at Khullara

Day 4

Khullara → Kuari Pass Summit → Return to Khullara)

  • Altitude: 12,516 ft
  • Trek Distance: 10–11 km (both ways) | Duration: 6–7
    hrs
  • Start early for the Kuari Pass Summit, the highlight
    of the trek. Enjoy panoramic views of Himalayan
    giants such as Nanda Devi, Kamet, Chaukhamba,
    and Trishul. After spending time at the top,
    descend back to Khullara for a cozy campfire
    evening.

Day 5

Khullara → Karchi Homestay (Trek)

  • Trek Distance: 9–10 km | Duration: 5–6 hrs
  • Descend back to Karchi village, retracing your
    route through the serene Himalayan forest. Enjoy
    the comfort of a warm homestay and a traditional
    dinner prepared by locals.
  • Overnight stay: Karchi Homestay

Day 6

Karchi → Rishikesh (Drive))

  • After breakfast, bid farewell to the mountains and
    drive back to Rishikesh. The journey marks the end
    of a beautiful adventure filled with mountain views
    and unforgettable memories.
