Day 1
Dehradun to Agoda Village (2,251M)
Begin your Dodital trek journey with a scenic 7-hour drive from Dehradun to Agoda Village, covering approximately 164 kilometers via Mussoorie, Dhanaulti, and the picturesque Assi Ganga Valley. Nestled in the Uttarakhand Himalayas, Agoda is a peaceful mountain village surrounded by forests and alpine views. Upon arrival, settle into a cozy homestay, meet your trek leaders, and receive a detailed briefing about the route ahead. End your day with a delicious dinner and rest for the adventure to come.
Day 2
Trek from Agoda to Manjhi (2,880M)
On day two, start your trek from Agoda to Manjhi, a scenic 9-kilometer trail that takes about 5 to 6 hours to complete. The route winds through dense oak and rhododendron forests, offering opportunities to spot Himalayan flora and fauna. You’ll cross clear mountain streams and enjoy the calm, untouched beauty of this lesser-known trekking path. Day 3
Manjhi to Dodital Lake (3,024M)
Trek 8 kilometers from Manjhi to the serene Dodital Lake, a hidden gem in the Garhwal Himalayas. This high-altitude lake, surrounded by alpine forests, is known for its crystal-clear water and spiritual significance. The 4 to 5-hour trek offers a gentle climb and stunning views throughout. Day 4
Dodital to Darwa Pass (4,151M) – Return to Bhebra
Day four is the most challenging and rewarding part of the trek. Begin early with a steep ascent to Darwa Pass at 4,151 meters, a high ridge that offers sweeping panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Bandarpoonch, Kala Nag, and more. The total distance covered is around 22 kilometers round trip, taking 8 to 9 hours. After soaking in the beauty from the top, descend back via Dodital and continue to the tranquil campsite at Bhebra for an overnight stay.
Day 5
Bhebra to Agoda – Drive to Dehradun
On the final day, trek 4 kilometers from Bhebra to Agoda, retracing your path through forests and small hamlets. From Agoda, embark on the 169-kilometer return drive to Dehradun, concluding your Dodital Darwa Pass Trek with unforgettable views and memories of peaceful lakes, forest trails, and snow-capped summits.
